2017 marks exactly 100 years of dependability offered by the Chevy truck lineup. With so much experience in providing quality and capability under its belt, Chevrolet sought a way to celebrate its one-century anniversary. That’s why Chevy is introducing the Centennial Edition trim level as a special option on both the Silverado 1500 and the Colorado.
The Silverado 1500 Centennial Edition comes with cosmetic touches such as Heritage bowtie emblems and Centennial door badges. Bowties on the spray-in bedliner and additional Centennial Edition badges on the floor liners continue the theme.
The exterior also comes painted in an exclusive shade of Centennial blue, and the 22-inch silver-painted wheels are accompanied by chrome accents such as tow hooks and door handles.
There’s a lot of overlap between the Silverado 1500 Centennial Edition and the Colorado Centennial Edition. The bowtie emblems and badging remain, as does the Centennial Blue exterior, chrome accents, and spray-in bedliner. However, the wheels are different, with bowtie emblems featured on the 18-inch wheels.
These special editions are available on the Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 and Colorado Z71, respectively. The Chevy truck lineup is commemorating its 100th anniversary in its own way, so stop by here at Crossroads Chevrolet to take one for a test drive.
