If you know anything about the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, you probably know that it’s a pretty darn fast car. This muscle car has what it takes to satiate speed-addicts of all ages. But what if we told you that there’s a new, faster, and badder ZL1 in town? The new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE has just arrived, and at 60 pounds lighter than the base ZL1, it has even more kick to it.
A combination of engineering smarts like the Multimatic DSSV (Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve) suspension and the aerodynamic design help give this sports car its extra speed. Some design details add to the performance, like the extra openings for airflow, while others such as the satin black wrap on the mirrors and the hood just look great. Nineteen-inch aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires were years in the making, and are the perfect fit for this car.
At Crossroads Chevrolet, one of our favorite things about the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is its powerful supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8, which roars with 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain is completed by a six-speed manual transmission. We can’t wait to test drive this new version of the ZL1. With a performance like that, we’ll be hard-pressed to settle for anything else!
